Aid to Haiti from Mobile Instrument
Taking part in a joint effort between Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute and Miami Children’s Hospital (Florida), Mobile Instrument donated hand held instruments, flexible scopes, rigid scopes, light sources, cameras, headlights, and 2 full sets of battery operated Stryker drills to be sent to Haiti to aid in relief efforts and the ongoing medical care of the earthquake survivors. Every department donated instruments or equipment to the cause.
The flight to Haiti carrying the donations left early January 28th, and is expected to be the first of many trips the hospitals will be making to offer aid to the earthquake survivors. Mobile is proud to be able to donate such much-needed supplies and equipment to the relief effort.
Mobile’s participation was spearheaded by Pablo and Debbie Sanchez. Pablo is a Mobile Territory Manager for Maimi, FL, and his wife Debbie serves as an OR Services Specialty representative.
